Success

A resident has been successful when she has developed the insight into the issues that brought her into treatment and has formulated and implemented a plan for change. Over time, she requires less and less external control and boundaries because she has incorporated internal self control. While she still may have some struggles, as humans do, she knows how to access the support she may need at those times. The resident has improved upon her relationships with her caregivers and through her self- accomplishments, reports being happier with the person she is.
